If you spot an unsafe party brewing in your neighbourhood, help is on the way; you can now report gatherings in Vancouver.

As of Friday, August 21, B.C. bylaw officers can now charge locals $2,000 for organizing large parties and the City of Vancouver installed a reporting system for locals to help out.

These orders will help us put a stop to the selfish acts of a small minority of British Columbians.

You can report parties either by calling 3-1-1 or by filling out the information online.

Just hours after the province introduced the fines, a party was caught and stopped in Victoria, leading to the host being slapped with a $2,300 bill.

This latest "snitch line" follows similar reporting methods that were blown up with thousands of calls during the start of COVID-19.
