Since so many people have access to smartphones these days, there is no shortage of pictures from strikes today. A simple search on Twitter or Instagram turns up hundreds of photos of people with protests signs and, most spectacularly, photos of the huge crowds.
Crowds from Newfoundland and Nova Scotia showed up and marched through streets for the climate strike.

In Toronto, people marched to Queen's Park and crowded the legislative building's front lawn.
Climate strikes are continuing to happen across Canada as the day goes on with strikes occurring in Alberta and British Columbia later today.
