For a while, it felt like spring was not a real thing in Canada. Even though we're already a month into the new season, many regions across the country were still experiencing harsh weather that felt very much like winter. Now, it looks like things are finally brightening up – literally. Canada's weather this weekend will finally be warm with spring-like conditions. Temperatures will be even summer-like in some cities.

Meanwhile, on the west coast of Canada, the weather is seriously warming up too. Calgary went through a snowstorm late last week that resulted in 15 cm of snowfall. Leading up to this weekend, it looks like there will be sunshine with no snow in sight. According to Environment Canada, the city can expect temperatures up to 22ºC to start off the long weekend on Friday.
Vancouver will also see some spring-like temperatures, with temperatures of 14ºC on Friday through Sunday, as will other cities in BC, such as Kelowna and Abbotsford, according to The Weather Network.
Central Canada will also experience warm weather this weekend. It will be sunny and 16ºC to 17ºC in Winnipeg this long weekend, and 19ºC in Saskatoon on Friday, shows the forecast from The Weather Network.
