Get in loser, we're going to the movies. In case you're not aware, today is October 3rd, which might just be the most iconic day for those who are Mean Girls fanatics. Since after all, today was the day that Cady Heron tells her crush Aaron Samuels what day it is. What better way to celebrate this iconic day then to watch Mean Girls on the big screen at select Cineplex theatres across Canada?
That's right, Cineplex theatres are embracing their inner mean girl by showing the iconic movie starring Lindsey Lohan across select theatres throughout the nation, and it's so fetch.
According to the Cineplex website, the movie will only be showing tonight, so if you're in the mood to relive your childhood, today is the day.
However, Cineplex confirmed to Narcity that the movie will only be playing in 20 select theatres*, so make sure to visit their website to see if it's playing in an area near you. A variety of Toronto locations, such as Yonge-Eglinton and Yonge-Dundas will be airing the movie, as well as the Kitchener, Markham, North Edmonton, Saskatoon, Pickering and Oakville VIP locations.
You can find a full list of their showing locations on their website here.
So grab some pink, your best friends and even your mom (but only if she's a 'cool mom') and head out to watch the most iconic movie of our childhood.
What makes matters even better, is that you don't even need to break the bank to rewatch the movie. Cineplex is offering tickets for the low price of $9.99.
You go, Glenn Coco!
Etobicoke Collegiate Institute is just a short drive from the downtown Toronto core and is the actual building that is featured as the outside of the high school that the movie is centred around.
The Mean Girls film originally came out in 2004, over 15 years ago, and is still one of the most iconic films of our generation.
