Who doesn't love food delivered right to your door? If you currently don't have a food delivery service in your city, you'll be happy to hear that a new delivery service is expanding across the country. Today on May 1, 2019, DoorDash Food Delivery Service is available in 50 cities across Canada.
The food delivery app is boasting that they've expanded across Canada over the past year. While they're already available in some Canadian cities, they'll be launching their 50th city today. They're planning to expand rapidly and want to double the number of Canadian cities they're available in by the end of 2019.
DoorDash wants to be available in 100 cities before the year's over.
They're officially serving Canadians in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Vancouver, Red Deer, Regina, Vancouver, Winnipeg and more. Winnipeg is the 50th city to launch in DoorDash's Canadian expansion.
Last year, the company expanded from 600 cities to over 4000 in the US and Canada and they plan to continue that progression this year. Some of their favourite Canadian restaurants include A&W, Boon Burger, Oh Donuts, and more!
In honour of the new launch in Winnipeg, DoorDash has added 300 restaurants to their lineup. Some notable restaurants include NuBurger, Underdogs and King + Bannatyne. They're also offering a promotion in honour of the celebration.
To celebrate launching in their 50th city, Winnipeg, DoorDash is launching a 30 or $30 promotion that will be live beginning today on May 1, 2019. The promotion offered to DoorDash customers means they can order any item from stores and if the customer's food is not delivered within 30 minutes, they'll receive a $30 voucher.
The food you order must be from the 30 or $30 deal listed on the app (or on their website) and you'll receive your $30 voucher within five business days. The 30 or $30 deal will only be available in Winnipeg and will end after 30 days.
