Christmas is always a magical time of year, but it can get a little bit stressful. Scratch that, it can be very stressful. There's always so much to do that it can be hard to find the right gifts for people (and no one wants to cop out by going the gift card route every year). Luckily, a new Indigo books website called Thoughtfull can help you pick out the right gifts for everyone.* You can also pick a gift based on how you want the other person to feel when they open it.

The new website aims to curate the gift-giving experience so that you can find the perfect item for anyone, even if they are notoriously difficult to buy for.*

"We heard from Canadians that they just don't know where to start when looking for a gift," Andrea Limbardi, Head of Thoughtfull said in a news release.

"In today's world where we're all busy and time-pressed we wanted to solve that pain point, and so we set out to create a platform that would provide a meaningful and easy way to gift with items that are curated to each recipient."

According to Thoughtfull's own research on the subject, Canadians often feel overwhelmed by where to even start looking for a gift, let alone a gift that tells the other person that you put some thought into it.

That's where Thoughtfull comes in. The platform presents the user with a number of questions concerning what the gift recipient likes, what occasion the gift is for, and most importantly, how the giver wants the receiver to feel.*

The website then provides a list of potential gift ideas.* As of November 13, the company is also offering same-day delivery on orders within the Greater Toronto Area.*

Despite the platform being developed by Indigo, the gifts offered on Thoughtfull are not just books.* For example, you can gift a 3-Hour Sushi Making Workshop or an Infrared Sweat Session.

This isn't the first platform in Canada to make shopping easier. Recently, Flashfood made it easier to grocery shop than ever, something that definitely makes the holidays easier. In addition, Shoppers Drug Mart announced that they will deliver goods right to your door.

If you're looking for a gift for the coffee lover in your life, Starbucks just dropped all of its 2019 Christmas gifts.
