Instagram is one of the biggest social media platforms today, so it's no surprise that whenever a change comes to the app, people are going to have thoughts about it. Their latest update is no exception. Instagram recently changed the look of their layout, but not everyone is happy about it. Instagram Canada's New Layout has some users outraged. So far, it's been getting quite a bit of hate on the Internet.
Instagram has quietly updated the layout on their app. With the new change, when you visit a profile, the option to click on a button to scroll through an account is no longer available. Instead, you can either click individually on each picture or see their tagged photos.
However, the scroll is not completely gone. When you click into a picture on a profile, you have the option to scroll up and down. So you can still scroll through photos on the account instead of tapping into each photo individually.
On top of this, the following and message button are now beneath the profile bio and directly above the pictures, as opposed to under the number of followers and posts, like it was previously.
So far, it looks like the change has not been rolled out to all users. Some of the Narcity staff saw the new layout update on their phone so far, but others haven't.

Although the change is relatively minor, several people have already taken to Twitter today to slam the new update.
Not everyone is a hater though. Some people are fine with the new change.
This past spring, Instagram rolled out a new "private likes" test in Canada that got rid of total likes, meaning users could no longer see how many likes other people's posts received. The company was praised by many for the move.
