Apparently Justin Trudeau's Hunk Factor "Intimidates" Donald Trump
That's according to a former White House staffer.
Justin Trudeau and Donald Trump consistently find themselves in the same room, whether it's meeting in the Oval Office or attending the G7. While the public sees one side of these interactions (two if you count what Trump tweets about them), there's apparently a lot of feelings going behind closed doors. At least that's what former White House staffer Anthony Scaramucci has to say.
In an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the former Trump associate said, "President Trump is very intimidated by Justin Trudeau because he's a good looking, smart kid." He further contrasted the two leaders by calling Trump a "fat orange blob."
"And so he's very intimidated by the way the guy looks," Scaramucci continued, adding that Trump "has the self-esteem of a small pigeon.". "Justin Trudeau has been very, very smart at keeping his distance from President Trump," Scaramucci said.
Speaking at the Toronto Global Forum, Scaramucci was particularly complimentary toward Trudeau regarding Canada-US trade relations, especially when it came to letting Trump take the credit.
"They were very smart to allow him to do all the speaking about it, they were very smart to stay in the background," Scaramucci said in an interview with Huffington Post. "Because when you’re dealing with such a complete narcissist like that, it could have been detrimental and destructive if they didn’t do that."
Scaramucci also took this moment to refer to Trudeau as "strikingly good-looking," saying, "There’s an intimidation factor there. Trust me, I know this guy ... That’s why he has to hit your prime minister on his Twitter account."
Anthony Scaramucci was the White House director of communications for 11 days before being fired by the President. He is currently fundraising against Trump to keep him as a one-term president.
