There's A Huge Lotto Max Draw On Christmas Eve & Winning Would Be The Best Present
The total prize pool is $59 million!
If you did a lot of shopping for the holidays and are looking at your bank account in despair, it would be nice to win some cash with the lottery. For some lucky Canadians that could actually happen. The Lotto Max jackpot draw on Christmas Eve is so big, winning it would make the perfect present for the holidays.
The lottery draws happen on every Tuesday and Friday and this year Christmas Eve happens to fall on a Tuesday which is such perfect timing.
If you win the big jackpot it would definitely make this holiday the most wonderful time of the year.
For the draw on December 24, the total prize pool is about $59 million. Of that, $55 million is the big jackpot and then there are four Maxmillions prizes of $1 million to be handed out.
Even if you don't get the huge jackpot win, you could still win $1 million.
Who wouldn't love to win $1 million?
The Lotto Max jackpots start at $10 million but can grow to be up to $70 million.
Once the main jackpot reaches $50 million, the Maxmillions are also offered so that's why there's some extra cash up for grabs for the December 24 draw.
The Christmas Eve draw will happen on Tuesday night and Lotto Max tickets will be sold across the country until 10:30 p.m. ET.
For each of the Maxmillions draws, an additional selection of seven numbers will be drawn between one and 50.
In June 2019, the Lotto Max jackpot reached $65 million and the Maxmillions reached $10 million which.
You have to be aware of the odds though. Matching all seven numbers in the draw is pretty rare, there's only about a one in 33,294,800 chance per each $5 play of 3 selections.
Regardless of odds and chances, the prizes for the Christmas Eve draw are huge and winning the jackpot or even just the Maxmillions would be amazing.
