Nova Scotia Hasn't Had Any New COVID-19 Cases In A Week

One Maritime province is becoming a model for all of Canada —could be slowing down because they haven't had a new case in a week.
According to the province's data, there haven't been any new cases of novel coronavirus confirmed between Monday, August 3, to Sunday, August 9.

Last confirmed case date in Nova Scotia
Two cases were confirmed on the last positive case date; since then, their curve has flatlined to 1,071 total cases within the province.
What's more, there is only one confirmed active case within the province right now as most people who were affected have recovered.
The province also reported 66,114 negative tests in total, meaning just over 1.5% of locals have tested positive since the pandemic began.
