The doctor is in! Well, he will be soon. Cable TV's most famous psychiatrist, Dr. Phil, will be embarking on a two-city Canadian tour this November and both stops will be in Ontario. Tickets to Dr. Phil's Ontario shows will be going on sale this week.
Phil McGraw, known to daytime talk show-lovers simply as "Dr. Phil", will be touring the province this autumn in a motivation speaking series, focusing on how to peel back the "social masks" that we all wear when attempting to make a good first impression.
According to Dr. Phil, "We all have a social mask. We put it on, we go out, put our best foot forward, our best image. But behind that social mask is a personal truth, what we really, really believe about who we are and what we're capable of."
What happens when we drop that mask? That's precisely what Dr. Phil explores in his Canadian tour. The press release announcing the tour explains that Dr. Phil plans to candidly address what happens when we peel back that mask, especially in situations related to leadership and motivation.
Dr. Phil's two-day Canadian tour will include stops in Niagara Falls at Scotiabank Convetion Centre on Wednesday, November 13th and in London, Ontario at Budweiser Gardens on Thursday, November 14th.
An interactive Q & A session will follow Dr. Phil's lecture on how to take control of your life in the midst of dynamic societal and cultural shifts. Dr Phil will invite members of the audience to participate, promising to deliver engaging and insightful discussions that allow the participants and audience to reflect on their own lives.
Details on how to be part of Dr. Phil's Q & A forum will be announced in the coming weeks on his website.
