Police have released new images of a man who spit in a GO Transit conductor's face in Barrie.

The incident occurred on April 14 at Alladandale Waterfront station.

Barrie Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect at the time, however they hope that these clearer photos will generate new leads to identify him.

Police communications co-ordinator, Peter Leon, said to Barrie Today that the suspect fell asleep on the train and missed his stop.

He reportedly launched into an argument with the conductor, who was walking down the aisle to clear the train.

"Someone who spits in a conductor’s face, especially during these times when everybody is trying to do their best to not spread germs, it makes it even more disgusting," Leon said to the outlet.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Barrie Police.
