Ontario Is Battling A Monster Storm Bringing Rain, High Winds, And Lightning (VIDEOS)
It's pretty grim out there.
Sunshine and hot weather seems to have come to an end, at least for now. You can start to expect cooler weather for the next few days, but only after the current Ontario storm has played out. The Weather Network has issued a severe weather warning for the majority of the province.
This wild storm spreads all across Southern Ontario from Ottawa all the way to Windsor and even north of Toronto, too.
All in all, it's a good thing festival weekend in Toronto is behind us. Whatever is lined up for this week, though, you should make sure you have your raincoat ready.
Watch out for the heavy downpours and strong winds as your day goes on since this monster storm doesn't look like it'll let up any time soon.
The Weather Network says Toronto is going to see thunderstorms up until Thursday.
This crazy storm definitely comes at a bad time for events like the Rogers Cup tennis tournament, day four of which was due to take place today in the city.
Toronto is expected to be hit harder than the northern parts of Ontario which means commuting in the city will be a little complicated this afternoon — and for the next few days.
Whether or not you're a fan of storms, this is the perfect photo op and Ontarians are going straight to Twitter to show how wild this weather really is.
Watch out while driving, this storm is hitting hard.
There is some good news for all of you who don't want to let summer slip by, though! The Weather Network expects warmer weather for this following weekend, so anything you got planned before the end of summer sounds like it is good to go.
But, as always with the weather in Canada, you can never really know what it'll be.
