As of this morning, Toronto police have located two of the three Toronto teens that were reported missing on Friday. However, one Toronto teen remains missing since April and police are concerned for her safety. Melanie Stevens, 18, was last seen on April 1, 2019. Anyone who has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
Last Friday, Narcity reported on three Toronto teens that were reported missing by Toronto Police on the same day. Melanie Stevens, Alexus Boudreault, and Naomi-Marie Jones were all last seen early April, but their missing reports were not released to the public until Friday, April 12, 2019.
The first report that was released on that Friday by Toronto police was for sixteen-year-old Naomi-Marie Jones who went missing only one day prior on April 11. She was last seen in the Younge Street and Finch area.
Now, Toronto Police confirm that Jones was located on Saturday around 5 PM and are thanking the public for the assistance in locating the missing girl.
The second report that was released by police was for fourteen-year-old Alexus Boudreault who was last seen on April 2, 2019, in the Wellesley Street East and Sherbourne Street area. Due to the public's assistance, Boudreault was located by police on Friday, April 12 at 12:50 PM.
However, the missing report for eighteen-year-old Melanie Stevens still remains and Toronto Police have yet to confirm that she has been located. Steven was last seen on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 8 PM in the Dundas Street East and Ontario Street area.
Stevens is 5'3 and has black shoulder-length hair. In the news release, Toronto Police confirm that they are concerned for Stevens safety.
Stevens was last seen only a day before Boudreault went missing and was also just minutes away from the location where Boudreault was last spotted. However, Toronto police have not confirmed if any of these cases are actually connected.
Toronto Police are asking for the publics help in locating the Toronto teen who has been missing for two weeks now, since the beginning of April.
