Brampton Fire Services had quite a job on their hands on Sunday night after discovering a massive blaze at an abandoned log house. The property was completely consumed by the fire, which crews had a tough time putting out. The Brampton fire is now being treated as suspicious.

The property is located off of Creditview Rd., just north of Steeles Ave. W., according to a tweet from Brampton Fire Services.

When firefighters arrived, the house was completely ravaged by the flames already, and there was thick black smoke coming from the property.

It wasn't an easy one to put out due to the size of the flames and the difficult accessibility of the property.

"Difficult access made this a hard fire to fight," Fire Services tweeted.

According to Global News, Fire Services said that hot spots continued reigniting throughout the night while crews tried to put it out. It took a team of six fire trucks to get the job done, and the crews rotated throughout the night.

The house has been abandoned for a couple of years, according to their tweet.

There were no injuries reported, and an investigation is still underway.

The "home is a total loss," breaking news reporter Andrew Collins tweeted while filming the scene.

"Crews continue defensive operations at working fire in a large abandoned log home on Creditview Road near Eldorado Park. Fire is said to be suspicious in nature, home is a total loss. No injuries reported," Andrew Collins reports.

It has not been reported what time crews managed to put the flames out, but the job went on into the night.

However, this isn't the first abandoned building in the GTA to catch on fire this month.

A few weeks ago, Toronto Fire Services were battling a blaze that broke out at a building located in the downtown area.

The fire started after the sounds of explosions were heard throughout the area.

Luckily, firefighters were able to get the flames under control.
