The City Of Toronto Is Hiring Tons Of Recreation Employees At Their Job Fair This Month

The City of Toronto is hosting a Recreation Job Fair at the Etobicoke Civic Centre on Wednesday, July 31st. Positions will include, but are not limited to; swim instructors, camp counsellors, dance instructors, after-school program leaders, special needs staff, and many more. The
It is asked that you bring an electronic version of your resume, as well as a paper copy, along with your ID and qualifications.
"Jobs are located across the city in community centres, parks, pools, arenas and city-owned museums and cultural centres," reads the event page.
As a candidate, you get to have one-on-one time with program representatives who will help you apply to part-time recreation jobs at the City of Toronto.
On-the-spot interviews will be held for the Aquatics positions, so if you are interested in those, come prepared with your SIN, photo ID, and your banking direct deposit information. You must be at least 16 years old to apply.

When you arrive at the job fair, simply check in at the lower level of the Civic Centre. You do not have to arrive at 4:30 sharp, but it would be advisable to get there sooner than later. Being punctual always makes a good impression!
There will also be short informative presentations on topics related to scoring a job with the city. The last presentation occurs 30 minutes before the end of the job fair.
