York Regional Police have arrested and charged a 31-year-old man with attempted murder after he repeatedly stabbed a woman in a Costco parking lot at 3 a.m. this morning, October 11. The Costco parking lot stabbing happened in Vaughan at 55 New Huntington Rd. Following the attack, the victim drove herself to a hospital in Etobicoke, where she is currently.
The police report states that the victim and her attacker knew each other and that the suspect arrived at the hospital shortly after her, where he was arrested. Police are not releasing his name in order to protect the victim's identity.
As of this morning, there was still a significant police presence at the Costco just north of Highways 7 and 427. The local police and the Search and Rescue Unit are still conducting an evidence search.

“A short time later the male attended the hospital and he was placed under arrest,” officers told CP24.
As per a tweet by a customer, it appears the Costco in question is currently closed.
