It's the summer of throwback concerts in Toronto. First, we found out that Aqua, S Club and Prozzak will be throwing the ultimate 90's dance party on June 22nd. Next, Nelly and TLC announced their Toronto show, set for this August. Just last week, we found out that Blink-182 and Simple Plan will be in town in July. Now, we've got more exciting news to share - the New Kids on the Block Toronto show has been set for June 19th, 2019!
NKOTB will be performing at Scotiabank Arena as part of their tour, called The Mixtape Tour. Joining them on tour are several iconic hitmakers including Salt N' Pepa, Naughty by Nature, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson.
The show is less than a month away, but there are still tons of seats available. Ticket prices range from $47.60 to over $800 for floor seats. For die-hard Blockheads, floor seats are definitely the way to go.
The Mixtape Tour is a 53-city tour across North America. It kicked off on May 2nd in Cincinnati, Ohio and will wrap up in Florida on July 14th. The Toronto stop comes right before NKOTB's Buffalo show, right after their show in Detroit. Based on their original list of dates, Toronto is the only Canadian stop on their entire tour!
At the concert, you can definitely expect a live performance of NKOTB's new song "80's Baby", a track which features all four of their Mixtape Tour partners - Salt N' Pepa, Naughty by Nature, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson. Have a listen:
