Toronto sports fans better catch up on their sleep Friday night, because Saturday is going to be a busy day of major league fandom.  This Saturday, April 13th marks what might be Toronto's biggest sports day of the season so far, as the city's four most popular major league teams are all playing that afternoon and evening, two of which are competing in their respective playoffs. The Toronto Raptors, Leafs, Blue Jays and TFC are all playing on the same day.

If we keep our fingers crossed, the Blue Jays, Toronto FC, Raptors, and Maple Leafs will all be making Toronto proud by the time the night ends on Saturday.

The Toronto Blue Jays lead Saturday's line-up at the Rogers Centre at 3:00 PM, playing against the Tampa Bay Rays.  We'll be root-root-rooting for the home team as starting pitcher Clay Buchholz makes his debut with the Blue Jays at the game Saturday afternoon.

Next, Toronto FC is playing in Seattle against the Sounders.  The game begins at 4:00 PM EST, but it's looking not looking too promising for defender Drew Moor; he likely won't be playing due to a groin injury.

Just an hour later, 5:00 PM is the start time for the Toronto Raptors' first round of the NBA playoffs.  Torontonians will be shouting "We The North" as Canada's only professional basketball team takes the court at Scotiabank Arena against the Orlando Magic, where the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal will commence.

Last, but most certainly not least, is the good ol' hockey game.  The Toronto Maple Leafs will face off against the Bruins in Boston in their second playoff game starting at 8:00 PM on Saturday.

The Leafs will open the NHL playoffs at TD Garden tonight, the exact same arena where they lost to Boston in Game 7 of last year's opening round.  Just as the sting of defeat lingers for Toronto hockey fans, the rivalry between the two teams will be as fierce as ever.

Be sure to check out tonight's Tailgate Party, where Maple Leaf fans will unite with their fellow hockey-loving comrades.

Saturday is just two-sleeps away!  Grab your jerseys and your beer, and get ready for a heart-pounding day as the city cheers on its favourite teams.
