The Toronto Zoo's New Baby Hoglets Are Just Way Too Cute (VIDEO)
Can we take one home?
You can say "hello" to the two most adorable new additions to the Toronto Zoo. Their beloved red river hog Tisa gave birth to two hoglets last month and they're just too cute for words. The zoo shared the news and a video of the babies on social media, and now everyone wants one.
According to the zoo's announcement, the little hoglets were born on November 4 to Tisa, a second-time mom, and Sir Philip Pigglesworth III.
You read that right. Sir Philip Pigglesworth, third of his name.
The video shows Tisa and Phil's kids sticking close to their momma and just generally being the cutest things you'll ever see.
According to the Toronto Zoo website, these adorable little creatures originate from Africa and Asia.
Red river hogs can actually grow up to a metre to a metre and a half in length and as tall as 50 to 80 centimetres. These little guys have got some way to go yet, though!
If you'd love to check them out, you can find them at the zoo's African Rain Forest Pavilion although availability and times may vary.
Everyone loves puppies and kittens, that's a given. But after seeing this, we're now all about hoglets.
And plenty of people seem to feel the same way as us, judging by the comments on the zoo's video.
"OMG!! Look at those little munchkins!" wrote one commenter on Twitter.
One person asked the question we all surely want to know: "Please tell me one of the hoglets is a boy so he can be named after his dad."
We, too, would like to see Sir Philip Pigglesworth IV.
Just last week, which some people thought resembled Dr. Seuss characters.
Don't necessarily expect Toronto's hog babies to be out in the snow as.
Maybe these new arrivals will help contribute to a more environmentally friendly source of energy.
For now, though, people just can't handle the cuteness, and neither can we.
