A Shooting Broke Out At A Memorial Service For Toronto Rapper Houdini Last Night

A gathering to honour the late Toronto rapper Houdini ended in a shootout on Tuesday night. According to Toronto police, two men were injured after shots were fired during a memorial service for the hip hop artist. One of the victims is reportedly now in hospital with serious injuries.
According to the Toronto Police, officers were called to Jane Street and Wilson Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. after reports of multiple shots in the area.
CBC reported that a large crowd had assembled in a parking lot of a strip mall on Beverly Hills Drive to remember the rapper. It is unclear at the moment what the motive was behind the shooting.
Investigators discovered over 30 shell casings at the scene, suggesting that multiple firearms were involved in the incident.
Police reported that most of the witnesses left the scene before they could be questioned.
The two injured men, one in his 40s and another in his 20s, later admitted themselves to a nearby hospital.
Both individuals were reportedly suffering from gunshot wounds, with one in serious condition.

A 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old woman were also injured during the incident.
