Constable Caroline de Kloet told Narcity in an email that police responded to reports of gunshots on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 2:48 a.m. within a condo building in the York Street and Bremner Boulevard area.

Two shots were fired through the wall. However, no injuries were reported.

Five people have been arrested in connection to the incident and a firearm was recovered.

"The names will not be released at this time as to not compromise an active investigation," de Kloet added.

Another shooting involving a short-term rental was reported back in January after a shoot-out broke out in a downtown condo, killing three people.
