It seems that Mother Nature isn't ready to forget about winter just yet. Toronto's weather forecast states that the city is about to be hit with another blast of snow this week. So make sure to pull out your winter jackets as it looks like temperatures will be cooler than normal for the remainder of the month.
According to The Weather Network, Ontarians should be wary of the recent surge of warmth we experienced at the start of the week, as winter-like conditions start to head back into the province.
Temperatures will drop below seasonal across Ontario on Wednesday, and it could remain that way for the rest of April.
The nasty weather is going to affect much of southern Ontario, but the GTA, in particular, is facing a pretty hectic Wednesday.
While the area can expect mostly sunny conditions, there is a chance of heavy flurries throughout the afternoon, with wind gusts of up to 20 kilometres an hour.
"Partly cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries at times heavy early this evening then clear. Wind west 20 km/h becoming light late this evening. Low minus 3. Wind chill minus seven overnight," read a statement on Toronto's forecast by Environment Canada.
On the bright side, both literally and figuratively, Ontario is supposed to see a slight rebound in temperature this Friday.
"Ontario is in for a pleasant weekend with abundant sunshine, particularly on Saturday, though eastern Ontario will see a mix of sun and cloud," read a statement from The Weather Network.
However, temperatures are supposed to plunge on Sunday, bringing the province into a gloomy next week.
So don't let the sunshine this weekend trick you into thinkingto stay.
