You're Finally Getting That Refund On Your Unused TTC Pass
Refunds start today for people who didn't commute in March and April.
Good news for commuters! The TTC is refunding monthly passes that haven't been used during the pandemic.
Starting August 21, the transit agency will begin issuing pro-rated credits for every day that went unused on a monthly pass since March 18 until the end of April, according to a news release.
By providing a credit, we are ensuring that some of our most loyal transit customers are fairly reimbursed.
Once the reimbursement is back in your account, you just need to tap a presto card station to receive it.
Although this initiative is now underway, it could take until November for everyone to receive the funds.
The refund program is costing the TTC $13 million.
