Another Major TTC Subway Shutdown During Rush Hour Leaves Toronto Commuters Scrambling
Here we go again.
UPDATE (April 18, 10:00 AM ET): TTC confirms that regular subway service has resumed.
There is currently no service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between St. George and Chester stations due to an injury on the tracks. The TTC issued an announcement that service on this stretch of the subway would be suspended this morning until further notice. In a Twitter post, the TTC also advised riders that shuttle buses would replace the subway service while the situation is responded to and investigated. It's the second major TTC subway delay to happen this week during the morning rush.
Unsurprisingly, commuters are not impressed. TTC riders have taken to Twitter to air their grievances:
