With fall now in full-swing and Halloween just around the corner, the Christmas season is nearly upon us, and we’re already getting excited. While it’s still too soon for most people to start thinking about Christmas gifts, decorations and turkey, Canadian Tire will be selling an Oreo-themed gingerbread house this month, and it is literally never too early for Oreos!

While traditional gingerbread houses were designed for creating and then eating, the reality of modern gingerbread homes is often a little different.

After carefully designing, styling and creating your gingerbread house, they will often sit on a kitchen surface throughout the Christmas period, gradually tasting worse with each corner you decide to pick off before it eventually gets thrown away, stale, stiff and still fully intact.

However, ready to shake-up the traditional gingerbread house industry as we know it, Oreo has released details about their Oreo Holiday Chocolate Cookie House Kit, and this little house is definitely going to get eaten!

According to People, each Oreo Holiday House kit comes ready-to-make with pre-baked chocolate cookie pieces, pre-made icing, Oreo cookies, and Oreo mini cookies.

If this wasn’t a sweet enough deal for you, the pack also includes fruity gummies and candy jewels, perfect for decorating the holiday house of your dreams.

Thankfully, you won’t even have to wait until Christmas to get your hands on this delicious take on the traditional gingerbread house. The Oreo Mini Holiday Cookie House Kit will soon be available in select Canadian Tire stores and online.

Available from October 25 and with a retail price of approximately $9.99, you really can't go wrong with this festive and fun tradition!

That said, if you’re thinking of investing in a tiny Oreo house this year, you better be quick. U.S. stores have already sold out of the Oreo Holiday House Kit, and the Canadian Tire website could soon go the same way.

With two months to go until Christmas, it’s probably not worth panicking just yet about finding an Oreo gingerbread house.

That said, if you’re not prepared to miss out on this untraditional take on a totally traditional gingerbread house, you can set a note on your calendar for October 25, and prepare to make the chocolatey, Oreo-y house of your dreams.
