The product was sold in 600-gram boxes, and there have already been several reported reactions from consumers, prompting the investigation.

The boxes have Universal Product Code (UPC) 0 60383 20488 4, and are dated 2021 AL 20, according to the information page.

While the product has not officially been recalled yet, the CFIA is urging those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance to double-check their groceries and avoid consuming the product.

An investigation is now underway, which could lead to a full recall.
