Jo Bros fans rejoice! More Canadian dates have just been added to the upcoming Jonas Brothers Tour, their first in nearly six years. The brothers made the announcement via their official Twitter on Saturday, revealing that they have decided to add a few more shows to their already sprawling tour due to the high demand for the beloved sibling act.
A whopping 23 shows were added to the Happiness Begins tour, including two more Canadian shows. They have scheduled a third Toronto appearance on November 26th at Scotiabank Arena and a new Montreal performance on November 27th.
The Jo Bros tour was initially supposed to come to an end at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A in October. However, it will now be pushed through December.
This marks the second time that the Jonas Brothers have chosen to add more show after announcing a tour, Global News points out.
The decision to add more dates is in response to several venues selling out their shows almost instantly after tickets went on sale. Proving once and for all that there are still tons of Jonas Brothers fans out there, nearly a decade after their popularity peaked around the globe.
The Happiness Begins tour is named after upcoming Jonas Brother’s album of the same name and will also commemorate the group’s long-awaited reunion. The new album is scheduled to drop on June 7th and is currently available for pre-order on the band’s website. Fans can even purchase special vinyl editions of each album. Each record features a different brother’s face with customers able to pick their favorite brother.
The Jonas Brother’s will also be releasing a documentary, Chasing Happiness, which will detail their reunion and the tour. So, if you don't secure a ticket to one of their shows, you can experience the magic from your couch once the film comes out!
