Working in the food service industry isn't easy. Especially when you have to deal with difficult cutomers.
So how complicated can some order get? Well, it turns out that Tim Hortons' wildest orders were revealed by workers there and some of them are beyond weird.
According to InsideTimmies.com, approximately 15% of Canadians visit Tim Hortons every day in 3,500 locations across the country. The website also says that Tim Hortons serves 2 billion cups of coffee each year, and on top of that nearly 8 out of every 10 cups of coffee sold in Canada, are poured at a Tim Hortons location.
With those kinds of stats, it’s hardly surprising the staff gets some pretty bizarre orders.
While you may wonder if your extra sugar, extra shot coffee order is a little picky, some people are very specific about what they want. In a new thread posted on Reddit, several of Tim Horton’s employees have listed the "stupidest" order they’ve ever received, and it might just make your coffee look boring.
It seems by far the strangest orders that are received are coffee-related, with many of the employee’s pained by the incredulous amounts of cream, sugar, and syrup Tim Horton’s customers like in their hot drinks.
Although it seems it is not just coffee that gets altered to the extreme, all sorts of Tim Hortons hot drinks are chopped and changed by customers to get the drink just as they like it.
Fortunately for the weird-hot-drink lovers, it wasn't just them in the firing line for strangest orders. Easily the second most common 'stupid' order was bizarre bagels.
However, Tim Horton's regulars on Twitter are not at all ashamed of their weird orders.
Whatever you decide to order from Tim Hortons next time, no matter how syrupy or sugary, do it with the confidence that yours is not the worst...probably.
