The past two weeks have been crazy! Between Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue snagging another gold and Ted-Jan Bloemen winning the first ever gold in the long track men's 10,000 metres for speedskating - we've almost lost track of how many medals Canada has actually won! But have no fear, I'm here to remind you!

It should be no surprise to you that our beautiful nation just snagged a top spot in the official medal standings in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Canadians are famously known for our innate ability to perform in winter sports like hockey, skating and curling so you should be relieved to know that our Olympians have lived up to our name!

Canada is currently sitting in 3rd place in the official medal standings. Norway is in 1st place with a total of 29 medals: 11 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze. Germany in 2nd place with a total of 23 medals: 11 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze. Canada is in 3rd place with 8 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze.

But the games aren't over yet! Our Olympians will keep crushing it in PyeongChang - it's in our blood! 😉Good luck to our athletes in their final days of competition!
