As everyone knows, the two best times of the year are Christmas and every happy hour. And what happens when you combine the two? You get Miracle. According to their website, "Miracle is a Christmas-themed pop-up cocktail bar that serves holiday cocktails in a festive setting." Christmas plus delicious cocktails? Name a more iconic duo.
Founder Greg Boehm launched his Santa-inspired pop-up vision in 2014 in New York's East Village. The idea was to create pop-up bars across the U.S. that laid on the Christmas kitsch. And thick. How far do they take the Christmas spirit? Their Facebook page lists their address as the North Pole. How cute is that?
No stranger to the bar scene, Boehm has authored books like Cocktail Kingdom in his quest to perfect the art of mixology. In launching Miracle, he found the winning combination—great drinks in a great setting, all with a consistent theme. With drinks like the Christmas Carol Barrel and the Christmapolitan, they're sure to make the heart of any Grinch grow three sizes.
Miracle Atlanta where it literally rains presents.
The first bar was an instant success. And what started as an idea in just one single New York bar, has spread across the U.S. from Florida to Texas to California. Currently, there are 75 cities hosting these festive pop-ups across 33 states. You can find Christmas Miracles in cities like Miami, Dallas, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, Tucson, and Los Angeles.
And, in 2016 Miracle officially went global with pop-ups in Canada, France, and Greece.
