How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse 101.
Do you fully believe that a zombie apocalypse is upon us? If so, Costco is now selling something that you may be interested in. Films like "Resident Evil" and "The Walking Dead" have seriously given fans a reason to believe that an apocalypse may be right around the corner.
Costco is taking full advantage of this, or maybe they truly believe this could happen because they are now selling "Doomsday" food kits that promise to get you through the first year of an apocalypse. These emergency food kits are designed to feed a family of four for up to a year's time.
The emergency kits are made up of foods and drinks that are meant to be made in under 20 minutes. You only need to "add water" to make these items edible. Some of the flavour options include chicken flavoured vegetable stew, polenta and "orange drink".
These "Doomsday" kits range from $1000 USD to $6000 USD. The food is promised to last up to 30 years, so don't worry, you don't have to use it all now. Oh, and the supply is packaged "discreetly" so you don't have to worry about your neighbours finding out about your zombie fears when Costco delivers all 36 pails of food.
On Costco's Canadian website, there is only one option available at the moment. It's the "Chef's Banquet Emergency Food Kit ARK" pallet that sells for a whopping $6499.99. It includes 12,060 total servings.
Costco is stressing that families should be prepared in the case of an emergency. What do you think? Would you buy the "Doomsday Prepper" kits?
