Drake and Migos have decided to reschedule their tour across the U.S. and Canada, following the arrest of Migos member Offset last week. After announcing a second instalment of Canadian shows just three weeks ago, many of them have been rearranged. Some of the U.S. tour stops haven't gotten new dates yet, and one show in Chicago has even been cancelled.
Offset was reportedly pulled over and arrested for drugs and gun possession in Georgia sometime last week. But, Drake's team claims that the tour has been pushed due to "production issues."
"In order to deliver the high standard tour experience our fans expect and deserve, we have made the necessary decision to slightly adjust the beginning of the Aubrey & the Three Amigos tour schedule,” says Drake's spokesperson.
The announcement comes just two days before their tour was slated to kick off in Salt Lake City, Utah. Now, it's not starting until two weeks later, on August 10th in Kansas City - the day they were originally supposed to perform in Toronto.
All three of Toronto's shows have been rescheduled to August 20th, 21st and 22nd. Full refunds will be provided to anyone who can no longer attend.
Migos will also be in Toronto a few weeks earlier, for their August 4th appearance at Veld Music Festival. Drake, who normally headlines OVO Fest around the same time, has apparently opted out of hosting the concert this year - a huge disappointment to loyal OVO fans.
As of right now, the only shows on the "Aubrey And The Three Migos" tour that haven't gotten new dates yet are in Denver, Colorado. For more updates, go to Drake's official website.
