Drake Reveals Everything About His Secret Son On His New Album "Scorpion"

Drake held nothing back on his new album about his secret child.

Drake's new double album "Scorpion" has officially dropped and everyone's already freaking TF out over it. Drake revealed some major bombshells about his personal life on the album, most notably his secret son and why he's chosen to hide him from the world.

On "Emotionless," the fourth track into the album, Drake reveals, “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid. From empty souls who just wake up and looked to debate. Until you starin’ at your seed, you can never relate.”

But, Drake saved the most major revelations for the song "March 14." “Yesterday morning was crazy, I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe, that shit is in stone, sealed and signed, she not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine."

"Sandi [Drake's mother] used to tell me all it takes is one time, and all it took was one time, shit, we only met two times, two times, and both times were nothing like the new times, now it’s rough times, I’m out here on front lines just trying to make sure that I see him sometimes. It’s breaking my spirit.”

Drake reveals he's only met his son once, on Christmas. "I got an empty crib in my empty crib," he admits, "I only met you one time, introduced you to Saint Nick, I think he must’ve brought you like twenty gifts."

But, Drake confesses that he wants to see his kid more, if he and the boy's mother can learn to set their differences aside. "They said that in two weeks you’re supposed to come in town," Drake says on the album, "hopefully by the time you hear this me and your mother will have come around instead of always cutting each other down.”

Ironically, Drake's son was born in October, giving a whole new meaning to the name of Drake's label October's Very Own. "October baby for irony sake, of course, I got this 11 tatted for somebody, now it’s yours."

Drake also delves into the struggles of being a single father. "Single father, I hate when I hear it, I used to challenge my parents on every album, now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent," the lyrics reveal, "Always promised the family unit, I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it, but this is the harsh truth now.”

Leave it to Drake to transform his music into a tell-all autobiography.
