It’s that time of year when the weather is cold and it’s always pitch black outside before evening hits. Winter has plagued the nation and it’s around this time of the year that many Canadians start to feel stuck with nothing to do but stay inside their homes. If you’re looking for something to do this chilly winter season that involves leaving your house and bracing the cold, Cineplex theaters across Canada are offering $2.99 movie admissions every Saturday during the winter season!
From now until February 23, Cineplex is offering a showing of a different movie every Saturday at 11 AM and you only have to pay $2.99. Without breaking the bank, you and your friends can get out of the house and enjoy some of the classics, some of them even bringing you back to your childhood.
A portion of the proceeds of your admission fee goes towards supporting WE Charity, so not only are you getting out of the house, but you are also supporting a good cause. So grab some popcorn and get ready to add some colour into the grey winter that is about to come our way.
You can kick off your movie marathon next Saturday, January 26, with Smallfoot, an animation movie about a Yeti who is convinced that humans really do exist.
On February 2, you can watch Chris Pratt on the big screen in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The following Saturday, February 9, you can relive your childhood with a screening of the classic The Land Before Time.
The last two weekends of $2.99 movies will feature The House With A Clock In Its Walls and the all-time favourite, Johnny English Strikes Again.
