Drake celebrated the record-breaking success of his new album "Scorpion" in Miami on Monday night with a massive, star-studded jam at an upscale Miami nightclub. Drake and his crew rolled up to the party at 1:15 AM on Monday night in a fleet of black SUVs, with his 75 guests waiting in anticipation.
In just 24 hours, the album hit 132 million streams, shattering Post Malone's album by 50 million streams, who held the record previously. It became the number one album in 92 countries on Apple Music charts, knocking slain rapper XXXTentacion down from the top spot.
Toronto rapper Tory Lanez was among Drake's celebrity guest list, as well as Zoey Dollaz and Roy Woods, and boxer Adrien Broner.
In a video posted by TMZ, Drake was having the time of his life, rapping along to a song while money rained down around him from above. In true Drake fashion, there were also hookahs,” a party-goer told Page Six.
Despite choosing Miami as his party destination, Drake made sure to pay tribute to his hometown. "This is really all family in the building, so we appreciate it," Drake announced on the mic, "But, at the end of the day, this is a Toronto night right here."
Drake also singled out Canadian hip-hop producer Murda Beatz, who's originally from Fort Erie, Ontario. Drake has worked closely with Murda Beatz over the years and made sure he got a proper shoutout.
Drake also opted for a sleeveless Canada jersey and jeans as his party attire. You can take Drake out of the six, but you can't take the six out of Drake.
