Prince Harry is known both by the British and Canadian community as an international treasure. A reformed party boy, with a couple years of military service under his belt, and a truly exceptional Toronto celebrity, Meghan Markle, on his arm.
What with a girlfriend filming in Toronto a good chunk out of the year, one would expect that Harry be a frequent flier across the pond, however that's not the reason you'll be seeing the prince in the 416.
Prince Harry is the proud creator of the Invictus Games - an international sporting event dedicated to injured active duty and veteran service members.
"The Invictus Games 2017 will feature a dozen adaptive sports, including archery, athletics, indoor rowing, powerlifting, cycling, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis. Also, new to the sports line up will be the addition of golf," states Invictus officials.
This year, in 2017, The Invictus Games will take place in Toronto - which means Prince Harry will most definitely be around to do publicity and work on the games in general.
In celebration of our 150th anniversary, Prince Harry has selected Toronto as the rightful host of the Invictus Games. The games will take place from September 23-30th. Click here for more details and stay tuned for details about celebrity performances and more Prince Harry news!
