Meghan Markle - a.k.a. The Duchess of Sussex - has officially landed in Toronto sans Prince Harry, making it her first solo journey overseas as a royal.
Markle arrived on an Air Canada flight, Royal Central reports. The airline reportedly received a letter from Kensington Palace, outlining specific instructions to ensure Markle's safety and privacy on the 7-hour flight from the UK to Toronto. The letter requested that "no one takes Meghan’s picture or approaches her on the flight."
Toronto has a special place in Meghan Markle's heart. She lived there for several years while filming all seven seasons of Suits. It's also the city where she and Prince Harry began their royal courtship. Many of her close friends still live there, including Jessica Mulroney, whose kids were part of the royal wedding in May.
Markle will also reportedly be stopping in Los Angeles for a visit before resuming her royal duties in September. She and Prince Harry will soon be embarking on their first global tour as Duke and Duchess, with stops in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, among other faraway places.
Meghan Markle's alleged solo trip to Toronto is all everyone's talking about, but royal reporter Carolyn Durand claims that its just a rumour.
#MeghanMarkle is in Canada are inaccurate. She is not currently in Toronto," Durand claims.
There are only two ways to find out for sure - paparazzi sightings and a confirmation from the royals themselves.
