Morgan Freeman is the latest actor in Hollywood to get slammed by accusations of sexual harassment.
The "Shawshank Redemption" actor has been accused of sexual harassment and misconduct by eight women over several years on the set of his movies. According to TMZ, Freeman's alleged misconduct took place on set or during media events that were connected to his movies.
One of the allegations comes from a production assistant who worked on "Going In Style". The assistant told CNN that Morgan tried to lift up her skirt to "see if she's wearing underwear" multiple times and also commented on her body.
The production assistant also says that Morgan's co-star Alan Arkin saw the incidents happen and told Freeman to stop.
Another woman that worked on the set of "Now You See Me" claims that Freeman also made comments about her body and other female members on the set. She claims that women on set knew to cover up when Freeman was around.
A CNN reporter also claims that she was harassed by Freeman's sexual misconduct. She claims that during a media junket in 2015 when she was 6 months pregnant, Freeman told her that she "looked ripe" and that he wished that he could be there when she gave birth.
In conclusion, CNN has spoken to 16 people about Freeman's misconduct. Eight people claim that they were victim to Freeman's misconduct and the other eight claim they witnessed him sexually harassing others.
Freeman now joins Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Jacob Hoggard and many other powerful men in Hollywood that have been accused of sexual misconduct.
