If you have tickets to see Nicki Minaj and Future in concert at the Scotiabank Arena on October 1st, we have some bad news for you.
The show has been cancelled, the second high profile concert cancellation announcement this week after Drake canceled one of his shows at the same arena.
Minaj and Future have actually pulled the plug on their entire North American tour, but at least we have some explanation why.
In a video tweet she sent out Minaj said that this is happening because she pushed the release of her latest album back 2 months.
“I just finished writing and recording literally hours before the album came out,” she says.
“I just simply don’t have the time to rehearse (for the tour),” she explains.
Minaj says that the European leg of the tour will go ahead as planned but that the North American half of the tour will now be pushed back to May, she says in the tweet.
The rescheduled tour may not feature Future on the bill because of his schedule, Minaj says.
If that’s the case, she says she will find another co-headliner or have 3 or 4 opening acts for her.
"I really apologize but it'll be worth it," she says at the end of the video.

Live Nation will be providing refunds for all ticket-holders.
So if you bought tickets, you're going to have to wait a few extra months to see the show.
