We’d all like to jump on a plane and jet off on an adventure for cheap, and with budget airlines like Swoop now becoming more popular in Canada it’s becoming easier too.
Well, now Porter Airlines is getting in on the action by dropping the prices on flights to certain destinations.
So get ready for a cheap trip, here’s where you can go for less.
Porter is now introducing a basic fare on flights to and from Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Timmins and Windsor.
This means that tickets on flights to and from those destinations will cost less, but you’ll have to pay extra for certain amenities.
For example, you’ll only be allowed to bring items about the size of a small purse or a briefcase as carryon luggage.
Anything bigger than that need to be checked for a fee of at least $27.50 in advance, and $37.50 at the airport.
Passengers will still have access to all the complimentary food and drinks that they would on a regular flight with Porter.
That means free beer, wine and snacks for the trip.
Porter hasn’t said why it chose these specific flights have become cheaper Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Timmins and Windsor, but hopes to add more destinations to the list soon.
But at least there’s now another option for cheap travel in Canada.
