The RCMP has reportedly shut down a Canada-US border crossing due to a "suspicious vehicle" in the area. The report came in just before 12 PM ET. RCMP are at the scene and investigating.
The border crossing in question is located in Woodstock, New Brunswick at the border into the US state of Maine. The border crossing is located just west of Woodstock, NB and east of Houlton, Maine.
The RCMP tweeted at noon that they are "responding to a suspicious vehicle at the Woodstock-Houlton border crossing. Motorists are asked to take an alternate route."

The border crossing will remain closed as officers continue to investigate the vehicle, which is currently being treated as a security incident.
