Shawn Mendes Fell On Stage During His Quebec Show And It Was Both Tragic And Hilarious (VIDEO)
Shawn Mendes took an "insane" tumble on stage last night, but says he's okay.
Leave it to Shawn Mendes to look cute no matter what he does, even falling on his ass on stage in the middle of a song. Mendes got a little too hyped at his performance in Quebec last night and decided to jump from one platform to another. Unfortunately, he didn't stick the landing.
Concert-goers captured the fall on video and have since posted it on social media. In the video, Mendes is in the middle of "Mercy" when he decides to jump with his hands in the air, then ends up on the floor.
Clearly shook, Mendes scrambles to his feet and runs across the stage. He continues singing as if nothing happened, and walks for the rest of the song to avoid another slip.
"Im ok but also that was insane hahahahaha," Shawn tweeted in response to the video, which has been liked and retweeted almost 40,000 times since it was posted last night at 10:30 PM.

This isn't the first time Shawn has tumbled on stage during a song. He almost fell over while jamming out to "My Blood" a few days ago. Shawn has previously admitted that "My Blood" is an emotional song, which focuses on his long battle with anxiety. Poor Shawn almost let the emotion take him down.
Shawn Mendes was performing at the Quebec City Summer Festival, as part of his worldwide tour. He hits Cavendish, Prince Edward Island tonight for the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, and then he's taking a month off before heading overseas on August 9th for Denmark's Smukfest.
