Shopify Is Hiring Hundreds Of People Across Canada

Looking for work SUCKS. Most of the time it feels like there are almost no jobs to really apply for at all. 

So if you’re in the process of looking for a new job then they’re good news because e-commerce giant Shopify is looking for workers. 

And the company is hiring for multiple offices across Canada.

If you somehow haven’t heard of Shopify or are unfamiliar with the work it does it’s an online platform for venders which handles things like marketing and shipping as well as secure checkouts and payments. 

At its Montreal office the company is looking to nearly double how many employees it has by hiring about 120 people in the coming years.

The company is also working in creating a bigger office in Toronto as well so that they can expand their staff. 

It also opened an office in Waterloo, Ontario in 2015, and will be opening a new one this year with plans to hire 300-500 people for that office in the coming years as well.  

Even their Ottawa office is also in the process of hiring more staff right now.

Many of the jobs currently being advertised on Shopify’s website are for the ‘engineering’ and ‘user experience’ teams. 

So if those are things that are up your alley you’re probably going to want to look and see if it’s something you’re interested in applying for.
