Last month, Shoppers Drug Mart announced the launch of their new cosmetic dermatology treatment centre, called the Beauty Clinic. The Beauty Clinic by Shoppers Drug Mart recently opened its doors at 2501 Prince Michael Drive in Oakville, Ontario. Shoppers says that the clinic provides a "truly holistic luxury beauty experience" and "next-level beauty treatments" with comfort and discretion in a new store format.
According to Shoppers Drug Mart, trained experts will perform a range of cosmetic dermatology services and treatments, including cosmetic injections, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, peels and a variety of laser services. They have also listed their full range of Beauty Clinic services online and we are pleasantly surprised to see that they're actually quite affordable.
Right now, The Beauty Clinic has listed their Botox Cosmetic & Dysport Treatments at just $10 per unit. Both treatments are brands of Wrinkle Reducer - injections that treat "dynamic wrinkles". Shoppers says that these brands are Health Canada-approved and the treatment itself only takes 15 to 20 minutes. You can get your Botox treatment right after your free consultation, no appointment required.
After Botox though, their prices for cosmetic treatments get quite steep. Lip fillers, for example, cost $550 per syringe. All of their procedures are performed by Nurse Practitioners. Their costliest treatments include Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) Skin Rejuvenation and Hair Regeneration treatments, both of which start at $750.
The Beauty Clinic's cosmetic treatments are on the more affordable end of the spectrum, at around $125 to $150 per treatment. Microdermabrasion is only $100 per treatment, Spot & Facial Vein Removal is $125, and Medical Grade Peels are $150 per treatment. According to their website, most of their treatments can be done immediately after your consultation if you have taken the proper steps to prepare your skin.
