Tesla. You know, that car company that Elon Musk owns? One one where he put one of the cars in space last month and basically broke the internet?
Well now Elon Musk and Tesla are trying to do something they've never done before.
No they aren't putting a car on the moon (although wouldn't that be awesome?)
They're launching a Tesla model in Canada that actually seems pretty affordable given what the company usually sells.
Tesla's Model 3 car will be hitting the road in Canada very soon with a starting price of $45,600.
Now that's certainly more that what your average sedan will cost you but for a Tesla that's a steal.
According to Tesla's website if you wanted to buy their Model S, for example, it would cost you $86,800.
Tesla's website describes the Model 3 as a:
"Smaller, simpler, more affordable electric car. Although it is our newest vehicle, Model 3 is not “Version 3” or the most advanced Tesla. Like Model S, it is designed to be the safest car in its class."
The website also says the car has touch screen maps, Wi-FI and LTE, voice activated controls and a whole host of other wicked cool things included.
There's no set date for when the car will exactly be launched in Canada, but it seem to be set for the middle of this year, likely in the summer time.
