Many great things delicacies have come out of Paris; Chanel bags, brie and croissants are just a few of the city's exports that make our hearts skip a beat.
But when we discovered that Toronto would soon be getting a new macaron shop that hails from the land of Ms. Coco herself, we literally couldn't even.
And now the wait is almost over, because the world-renowned pastry phenomenon, Maison Ladurée, will finally be making its Toronto debut next month!
Best known for its artful and delicate pastel-coloured macarons and to-die for branding, Ladurée announced several months ago that it would be opening it's first Toronto store at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre, marking the brand's third location in Canada.
When the what we're sure to be beautiful shop opens its doors next month, visitors can expect will enter a more than 1,000 square foot space featuring a 26-seat dine-in area located in the mall's luxury wing, near Chanel, Gucci, and all the other stores we can't afford.
Guests at Maison Ladurée Yorkdale will be sure to receive the highest level of service and the most delectable macarons, pastries, chocolates and treats you can image. "Our goal is to deliver a world-class shopping experience, and Ladurée will offer a taste of the Champs-Élysées alongside the world's best-known fashion brands," says Claire Santamaria, Yorkdale's general manager.
Designed by Ladurée's in-house creative team, the new shop will feature the brand's signature marble countertops, metallic accents and hints of mint green, powder blue, and rose, making the decor the perfect complement to your next Insta post.
And along with their iconic macarons that grace the salons many shelves, the Yorkdale location will also sell speciality teas, jams, honeys, candles, room fragrances, books, and small accessories, making this a one-of-a-kind one-stop shop for all things adorable.
