Usually, the Northern Lights can only be seen in the more northern parts of Canada, but all of that is changing tonight! The Northern Lights will be visible over several parts of Canada tonight and we're here to share with you where the best places to see it are. This is a rare occasion and you do not want to miss your chance to see this incredible natural phenomenon light up Canadian skies.
The Northern Lights will be shining in all their surreal glory over several provinces in Canada tonight. Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and more will be able to see this spectacular light show tonight on February 1, according to the Space Weather Prediction Centre's 3-day forecast.
Now you won't have to take a plane all the way to the Yukon or Iceland, and depending on where you live in Canada, you'll be able to see the Northern Lights bring some nighttime magic to your city. It's time to check this item off your bucket list this weekend!
The SWPC says that for this weekend, several Canadian provinces, as well as American states, will be able to experience the Northern Lights take over their city's skies. According to them, the cities located in the area of the green line in the graphic below are expected to have the best views of the Northern Lights tonight.

Based on the graphic, the green line passes through several provinces. In Ontario, the green line passes through places such as Sudbury, North Bay, and Ottawa! You may even be able to see it in the GTA if you go somewhere far from the city lights.
