This Netflix Show Is Looking For Canadians Willing To Go To Scotland For A Month Long Paid Gig
The chance of a lifetime!
The acting world can be a tough one to break into, especially if you live far from sunny LA and are instead a resident of Canada. Luckily though, this opportunity might be your next big break- whether you've wanted to be an actor your entire life or just want to take advantage of an insane experience!
The Emmy and Golden-Globe nominated television show Outlander, which airs on Netflix, is looking to pick up some Canadians as extras on the show for their upcoming season. As a result, the Canadians chosen will get to travel to Scotland from May 18th to June 16th for a month-long trip! Did we mention that you get a weekly allowance as well as your flights and accommodation paid for?!
Unfortunately, this gig isn't open to all Canadians as the casting sessions are going to be held in Edmonton and Calgary. Edmonton locals will find their casting call at the Inglewood Building on March 24th from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.. While Calgary locals will need to go to the Clarion Hotel on March 25th from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M..
The team behind the show are specifically looking for Indigenous people, 70 young men, 10 "older" men, 25 women and 10 - 15 young children. In order to be considered, you must bring not only a passport but also your Indian status card to prove you are actually Indigenous. Other than that, there are no other requirements considering the casting call claims you need no previous camera experience and you just have to show up!
