Are you ready for your next mission? Star Wars fans everywhere will be stoked to know that Disneyland Rise of the Resistance finally opened today. Eager fans poured in to the Anaheim park as early as 2 a.m. to score a chance to ride the new attraction.

According to The Orange County Register, thousands of visitors flocked to enjoy the new trackless dark ride and spent the entire night out in the cold just to make sure they got through Disneyland's magical gates.

Unfortunately, not everyone was able to make it on the ride.

Guest relations at the park revealed that Rise of the Resistance boarding passes for the entire day were scooped up in only six minutes!

Adding to the stress, the ride broke down due to technical issues less than two hours after the park opened, making the wait times even longer than expected.

Disneyland staff even had to "evacuate" riders from the ride's Ready Room after a technical malfunction occurred, preventing the holographic Rey from appearing. This added 50 more minutes to the rider's wait time.

Patience is a virtue, people.

It's been a long wait for parkgoers who've dreamt of visiting a galaxy far, far away and there's so many features that make it special.

While most Disneyland rides only last for a few minutes, this one takes guests for a 15-minute long odyssey all while being chased by Kylo Ren. You'll even get to meet General Leia Organa before getting captured by the First Order’s forces. All of the cast of Star Wars reportedly participated in the new ride.

The word spread and the lines grew.

It seems like the opening day had a lot of glitches. Here's to hoping that the technical issues are resolved soon and the ride times shorten. We'd all like to take a whirl on the 15 minute ride, but waiting 7+ hours to check it out IRL is less than ideal.

While you're waiting for lines to die down, you can get your fan fix by visiting this awesome Star Wars-themed speakeasy in Los Angeles for a limited time only. Did we mention there are Baby Yoda cocktail drinks?
